Summary: Full range of watercolor supplies. You name it, they have it. Specialities include custom framing, airbrush parts and service, and a full line of pens (gifts?) Several times a year they feature a sale with an artist\'s demo of different media. Very interesting! Knowlegeable clerks.
Why Favorite: I enjoy the sale. Viewing how artists use the various material, that you do not use, is very educational.

Summary: A great place to buy mats and other framing supplies. They have several styles, sizes and colors. My favorite feature is the RCM series mats, as they are a single mat, with a unique bevel cut that mimics double matting on a single mat. Ordering is only by phone, fax or mail. No On-line ordering.
Why Favorite: I really like the service, and quality. The prices are reasonable and the service is very good. I especially like some of the unique cuts to their mats.

Summary: A well-stocked art supply location with full array of painting supplies.  Also paper supplies, canvas supplies, books, furniture as well as weekly classes for all levels of artistry!  
Why Favorite: Very good to artists, offering gift certificates to Northstar Peer winners quite often.  Many Northstar members teach classes at the Roseville Store.

Since 1976 Wet Paint has been a single store, independently owned art supply store serving the Twin Cities community and beyond. With a very knowledgeable staff who can answer almost any question in regards to materials or the use of supplies.
Why Favorite: They are a favorite among many professoionals as well as students and beginners. In fact, City Pages selected Wet Paint as the "Best Art Supplies" store in 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2008.
