Founded in 1975 by local artists, Northstar Watercolor Society (NWS) is the oldest watercolor society in Minnesota.  With more than 350 artists, NWS is an active, non-profit organization that promotes the use of water-based media art and the education of its members by offering monthly meetings and demonstrations, art shows, workshops, and more.  NWS welcomes anyone who is interested in watercolor, acrylics, and other water-soluble painting.
