Description: These members plus Pam Weisdorf and Emily Donovon have formed a group called the Escape Artists. In their first exhibition, The Escape Artists have created 72 contemporary paintings inspired by the works of twelve influential historic masters. This educational exhibit demonstrates the way different viewers see the same painting. Each Escape Artist brought his or her unique painting style, experience and interpretation to the creation of new works that are fresh and original. In this way, the works of the old masters continue to influence painting in the 21st century.
